Glossary term
Seamless garment
A garment constructed without traditional sewn seams — either by circular knitting, bonded construction, or a combination.
Definition
'Seamless' means different things in different categories. In sportswear it often refers to circular-knit construction without side seams. In performance apparel it refers to garments whose seams are bonded rather than sewn.
Why it matters to DSEAMS
DSEAMS is a seamless construction technology in the bonded-seam sense — fused seam construction that eliminates stitching and sewing across waterproof, protective and technical garment categories.
