Liquants ‘AES’ (Adhesive Encapsulation System) is a next-generation seam technology for lightweight textile applications — combining laser-prepared seam surfaces with proprietary adhesives.

Traditional high-performance garments with sewn seams require seam-tape to ‘patch up’ the punctures created in the waterproof barrier membrane. This additional process is both unreliable and unnecessary.
Liquants ‘AES’ eliminates sewn and seam-taped construction in textile laminate products, creating fused seams with uniform membrane-film to membrane-film contact integrity — guaranteeing barrier and breathability qualities across every seam.
