Embedded Interface Module (EIM)
A Penanos interface component permanently integrated into a garment to control the active surface.
Definition
EIM is one of Penanos' two module classes — embedded into the garment for permanent integration.
The companion class is RIM — Removable Interface Module — designed for garments where the control component is detachable for washing or upgrade.
Why it matters to DSEAMS
EIM and RIM are named modular components in the Penanos LLC technology specification, alongside PE/FE e-CIP circuit/sensor controller components.
