CBRN suit
Also known as: Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear suit
Protective apparel designed to shield the wearer from exposure to hazardous chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear agents.
Definition
CBRN suits combine barrier fabric, bonded seam construction, interfaces to respirators and gloves, and strict quality control.
Any compromise at a seam can mean exposure — so seam technology is a mission-critical component.
