Penanos “PE e-Mem” (Printed Electronic - Electrified Membrane) is an advanced technology that seamlessly integrates printable electronics onto the membrane barrier film of the textile laminate. This innovation is made possible by DSEAMS® proprietary technologies, which enable precise access to individual layers within the textile laminates, allowing for fine-tuned control over the membrane film surface, conductive adhesives, and the production process.

Using a proprietary inline lamination process, specialized conductive adhesives, and high-performance electrified membrane barrier films, Penanos-powered fabrics rank among the most technologically advanced textiles available today.

Unlike traditional garment electronics, which rely on physical wiring that can loosen, break, or add bulk, Penanos® “PE eMEM” replaces traditional wiring by using conductive adhesive technology directly on the internal barrier membrane film of textile laminates. This creates a lightweight, full-coverage ‘active surface’ that eliminates bulk while maintaining high reliability and durability.
