Liquants 'AES' (Adhesive Encapsulation System) is a next-generation seam technology designed for lightweight textile applications, particularly high-performance rainwear constructed with woven shell fabrics and tricot linings.

Liquants “AES” & “AES” + - Adhesive Encapsulation Seam that is produced by using a specifically designed laser beam (Gas Laser Beam with either a Continuous-Wave or Pulsed Laser). The “AES” is designed to create the Seam Surface Preparation Area without destroying the qualities of the textile laminate. This process eliminates the requirement of a Sewn and Seam Taped Seam, as a Dry or Liquid Adhesive encapsulates 100% of the exposed seam surface area.
Liquants “LIPS” - Laser Integrated Panel System creates a Prefabricated Garment Pattern Panels that prepare the “AES” Seam Surface. The Liquants “LIPS” “AES” Garment Pattern Panels are either manufactured into prototype/sample garments or shipped back to the manufacturer for the garment assembly.process.
The “AMP” = Automated Module Platform Manufacturing Equipment is designed specifically, per the licensed operation requirements.
The “AMP” Software Equipment Management Program and Pattern Applications are available. These include a 3D Scan to Pattern directly to the Laser Manufacturing Equipment. They can be used for One-off Custom garment manufacturing or small production capabilities.
Liquants Dry and Liquid Polymer Resin Adhesives and bio-based/biodegradable polymer resins are available, with Hydrostatic, Instron, and Wash and Dry Trial Data in place.
Various “AES” Seam Widths (4-9mm) and the Adhesive/Polymer Resin Patterns are Applied During the Production Sequence.…
